Founded in 1919, Brentham FC runs 3 men's teams at the Brentham Club - the Firsts, the Reserves and the Veterans. The First team play in Division 2 of the Middlesex County League, the Reserves play in the Junior Reserve Division of the MCL and the Veterans play "friendly" games. Local football legends Mick Duffy and Colin Matthews can still be witnessed showing their various talents on Sunday mornings for the Veterans side. The star attraction for Brentham players is the pitch, recently renovated and carefully tended by the club groundsmen, and now offering one of the finest playing surfaces in the Middlesex County League.
For First team, Reserves and Trial players, training takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from mid July onwards (6.30 - 8.30). For each session there will be a small charge of £1 per person to cover equipment for the forthcoming season. Coaches this season are likely to be Rob Aitken, Ed Aitken and Ian Cumberland.
For information about junior football training (boys and girls) held locally in Scotch Common please see the Pitshanger FC website. Please note, this is independent to the Brentham Club.
Social events include an annual awards dinner, karaoke and the Veterans had a very successful end of season trip to Spain last year.
For details of membership fees, please refer to the Membership Section.
Membership of the club entitles players to use the subsidised bar at any time (when it's open, obviously!), take part in club activities and play other sports at the club for a reduced section membership fee.
