The Cricket Ground

Section Information

Brentham Club - Cricket.Brentham Cricket Club has a long and proud tradition, being founder members of the Middlesex County League. We have a reputation as one of the friendliest league teams and are always glad to welcome new members and spectators to our picturesque tree-lined ground.

We run three sides in what is one of the strongest leagues in the South of England, a Sunday side which combines cup fixtures with friendly matches and in 2007 will introduce a 4th XI as a developmental team for younger players. We regularly attract high quality overseas professionals, but all our XI's combine experience with younger players who have graduated through our colts system. Recent highlights include a quarter-final appearance in the National Club Championship and a semi-final in the Evening Standard Cup.

Juniors

The Colts set-up encompasses the U10, U11, U13, U15 and U17 levels, and includes regular coaching and practice sessions both outdoors during the colts' season (Middlesex League, Cup and friendlies) and indoors during the winter. Club loyalty is strong with many ex-colts now playing senior cricket in all of the XI's.

Coaching

We have several ECB qualified coaches at the club who work with the Junior sections, and currently also employ Hallam Moseley (ex-of Somerset & Barbados) as external coach. Our aim is to keep recruiting and developing high quality young players to enable the club to compete at the highest level for years to come.
