Dinner Concert
Friday 3rd February, 7.30 pm
There was an item in the Brentham December newsletter which gave advance notice of a dinner concert which will take place at the club on Friday 3rd February. The concert will feature light classical music including well known music by Mozart and other popular composers. The concert will feature Hugh Mather (piano) and Pauline Lowbury (violin).
Hugh is well known in Ealing as someone who organises classical concerts and performs them as a pianist of great talent. Anyone who has attended his concerts in St. Mary's Perivale (our neighbour across Pitshanger park) or in St. Barnabas knows what a treat is in store.
Pauline Lowbury has had a distinguished international career as a violin soloist - appearing at major venues throughout Europe and in America. She has given highly acclaimed London recitals and has broadcast on television and radio.
Those who know and love classical music will not want to miss this occasion. For those who are new to this type of music, this will be an event that you will certainly enjoy and want to repeat.
The price is £20 per head (£18 for Club Members)
Includes a sumptuous meal cooked by Neil, the Brentham club chef. I thoroughly recommend that you book your places and buy your tickets immediately - places are limited. In any event we must know numbers by first thing on Monday 30th January.
To buy tickets telephone Jacek on 07402711982 or visit the Members bar upstairs at the club

| INTRODUCING A NEW SPONSOR TO THE CLUB
After a number of years sponsoring the Football Veteran’s XI, we are pleased to announce that Thames Materials, a local firm based in Uxbridge, have now increased their contribution to the club to become a significant sponsor of events and facilities over the next 2 years.
Starting with the New Year’s Eve Party, Thames Materials will also be the title sponsor of May Day celebrations, a Weekend 5-a-side Tournament (Juniors & Vets) and Fireworks Night during 2012 and 2013. In addition, they have made a sizeable contribution to the funding of the new Football Changing rooms which we hope to be completed by the Spring of this year. At the same time, they will continue to support the Football Veteran’s Section.
We would like to thank Eamonn Malone for helping to make this happen and see this as the beginning of a mutually beneficial community and commercial relationship for the future well-being of the club. And if you know of other local firms who would like to sponsor key events, sections or facilities at the club, please contact Roma on 020 8997 2624 or email: secretary@brenthamclub.co.uk.
